High-Voltage Union manufactures modular traction substations for railroads KTPBR-110/27,5/10(6) of 110 to 27,5 and 10(6) kV voltage transformation equipped with transformers from 2 500 kVA to 40 MVA of power. Traction substations are used for 27,5 kV 50 Hz power supply of contact-wire lines  as well as for 110 kV and 10(6) kV power transit and distribution.

The 110 kV and 10(6) kV units of the traction substation are identical to the units of KTPBR-110/35/10(6) kV. The same scheme, construction and components are used.

Middle-voltage side is completed by outdoor switchgears of KRP(B)Z-27?5 series. The schemes of KRP(B)Z allows to provide stepwise development of traction substation without a reconstruction or disabling the substation.

Side of 27?5 kV is completed by three-pole vacuum circuit breakers of 35 kV rated voltage or one-pole vacuum circuit breakers of 27,5 kV rated voltage (see above in the leaflet).

In addition to traction substation High-Voltage union delivers switching and distributional equipment for power supply of municipal electric traction transport – trolley-buses, trams and undergrounds. As a basical equipment for traction circuits of undergrounds KU-10C complete switchgears with BP vacuum circuit breakers are accepted. Also High-Voltage Union manufactures dry transformers for power supply of underground 0,4 kV networks.
